Also, I love this idea and I think I will steal it. I started shortening my TBR to "must reads" in order to leave room for my mood reading. I think a second rotating TBR of 20 books I want to read soon will help keep me from slumping. I'm going to start putting it together in my bullet journal. Maybe it's time to go shopping for new washi tape.

Yes!! Let’s do it! I may have to start it I. May though. I still need to buy the books and get through a few group reads, but I am pumped to continue my Hobb journey!! Evan better to read with you!

If you guys are heading into Tawny Man, it's a good time to read the teeny novella that Hobb wrote - The Willful Princess and the Piebald Prince. It was written much later than Tawny Man, but does fit best just before it.
It's set in the history of The Six Duchies, and has ZERO direct links to the main saga - but gives excellent context to the big themes in Tawny Man. 

THE NOVELLA IS NOT ESSENTIAL READING. Please feel no pressure to read it. It is really good, it is really short, and you won't regret reading it - but you can move straight into Tawny Man without it.

We are going to do it! Novella in May and start Tawny Man in June! So excited!!

I think you're reading Kushiel's Dart Brandie??? How are you liking it? It's my favorite book I've picked up this year.

I liked it! There was so much! The premise was interesting, I really liked the political intrigue, the culture and religious themes, and great world building. Some of the action dragged on for me, but that's nit-picking. I am going to start Kushiel's chosen in May.
