    No Man’s Sky Outlaws

I know @Elovia enjoyed this one, not sure if he’s still playing but it’s a game I’ve always been curious about but the time sink never ending grind has lost its appeal over the years

    No Man’s Sky Outlaws

It is fun, but a lot of the game has to do with building or discovering rare stuff like modules. There is no engaging story line or levels really, so the look what I found/discovered fun, the naming, building, and so on tends to lose its luster without someone to show it too. Aside from seeing people at a specific kind of hub you won't see anyone ever. The universe is just too big. I have not once seen anyone anywhere out in the universe. It's even rare to find someplace that someone else has been and already named/discovered. There is a dungeon finder of sorts for grouping with people for specific missions that have people as well. Like most multiplayer games these tend to be a racing kinda thing. Similar to destiny.

    Command Decks

Commander decks are decks that are made for multiplayer games usually. They play pretty differently than what you probably remember (if you remember any of it). You can only have one copy of each card in these decks and you have a Commander card. Here are some videos that will be helpful, some people love the format but it never really caught my attention. There are pre-made decks out there that are available which would be the easiest way to go, or you can build your own from scratch.
  6. Whew, I'm glad we were all on the same page in wanting a break! We can plan for end of August or beginning of September even for the first half of House of Chains. The series really dense and the books are huge.

    No Man’s Sky Outlaws

Only a 7 doesn't sound too bad. Is it a not fun for soloers type of game?
  8. Thank you Steve. I too believe I could use a break. Malazan takes up a lot of real estate in my mind lol. I'm trying to start a couple new series this month and see if I like them.
  9. Jag

    No Man’s Sky Outlaws

It's fun and great with friends, but also only a 7/10 game.

    Command Decks

So I played the hell outa MTG in the mid 90's. Tournaments, boxes, sets the whole gig. Got rid of them all back in the day (regrets). Anyhow, my oldest says his friends want him to get a command deck together. Where do I start and how much should I expect to invest?
  11. That works for me too. I can use a break. I haven't been in the mood to read lately. So August for the first half of House of Chains?
  12. Last week
  13. I like the thought of gnomes and fairies and sprites and elves existing but don’t really believe they do. But I’m open minded! like Fox Mulder says, the truth is out there.
  14. I have one employee who is a little difficult. He’s really stubborn and even though he knows he needs additional training he doesn’t want to learn and insists he’s right when proven wrong. The last day or so I’ve been avoiding him in the mornings. He works graveyard and I see him for a few hours when I come in. This morning he walked into the office with a really serious look on his face and asked me “do you believe in gnomes?”. When I gave him a deadpan “No.” in response he showed me some camera footage he swears is gnomes walking around at night. The footage is actually dust particles flying around in the lights as the camera focuses. He’s convinced it’s gnomes coming out at night. I need more coffee. How is everyone else’s day?

    Gas prices

That’s true, it gets more expensive with newer vehicles and when you don’t use the higher octane you can really tell the difference with gas mileage
  16. I agree let’s plan on that. If you have dates in mind let me know
  17. I think towards the end of August (so 1 month later than our scheduled liveshow now) would be great. Especially since it seems we best read 4-5-6 without a long break in between. If we want to take one, now is the time to do it
  18. That did happen to me. Especially because after the end of book 4, the main story doesn’t continue until book 6. Book 5 is a whole new cast or characters, new continent, etc but it’s so worth it! Book 5 is my favorite in the series so far.
  19. New arrival, Terror approved
  20. I didn’t mind this map from Priest of Lies
  21. Not good with a cover like that?? reading Priest of Lies today
  22. The only thing I worry about a little bit is losing track of all the characters @Jolien Reads when would you want to pick it back up? End of August or September?
  23. Between each book I usually take a 2 month break. Only time I didn’t was between books 5&6. About 3/4 of the way through book 6 I felt the burnout and then it took a couple of weeks to finish that last 25%.
  24. I wouldn't mind a little break either, but we'll see what Stacy and Joseph think
  25. It was not good. least favorite Andrews book I’ve read so far.
