Steve 3,863 Posted January 12, 2021 Started Gardens of the Moon. Lots going on but I'm a little lost. I hear that's what most everyone says, so I'm just going with it and hoping it will all make sense. 3 bookchara, Stacyejaye and Harfoot Fallohide reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

Google translate usually does a reasonable job, and you can paste whole phrases. Or... Entschuldige Nein. Nicht ich. Ich kann kaum Englisch verstehen. Jolien Reads 411 Posted February 6, 2021 I just finished Circe by Madeline Miller and decided to pick up The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. I'm starting tonight (it's afternoon now) and I'm very excited to see what all the fuss is about!

Do you plan to read the trilogy or just start with The Blade Itself? If I like it I'm going to continue with the entire trilogy, but not back to back. If I finish those three books by the end of this year I'll be happy! And then hopefully start with the standalones and his second series. But first see if I like the first one, although I think I will! 1 Steve reacted to this

Steve 3,863 Posted May 1, 2021 Nightmare was pretty good, going to save details for the live stream but it kept me guessing until the very last few pages. BrandieNoel 158 Posted May 9, 2021 Currently Reading This Burning World by Jeff Lane. The second in his Champion Saga. Part of the way through This Paper World I remembered Steve's youtube conversation with Jeff where he said that he writes with making it into a podcast in mind. So I thought I would check it out. It is great. Narrated by Jeff. He does a great job. I listed to audiobooks from time to time and sometimes it is NOT good. But he does a fantastic job! Worth a listen for sure! Also whoa! Jeff does not hold back in his books. No one is safe. And his writing style is great. The way he describes the thoughts and feelings of the characters is good. "Jim's words tumbled out of his mouth as if they were boulders dislodged in a rock slide." There is so much of this, I just really enjoy his writing style. 2 Steve and Raul Reads reacted to this Quote Brandie Currently Reading: Lady of the Lake The Wreckage of Us
