Steve 3,863 Posted May 23 Recently was talking with someone about killing characters. They said they would have loved it if George Lucas killed Luke at the end of Return of the Jedi and how beautiful of an ending that would have been. I guess I never really thought about it much, but the more I think about it the more I agree. Luke should have sacrificed himself at the end of the movie, it would have made for a great ending. Crystal Rhew Staley 62 Posted May 26 I can see how that would be interesting, but also I do like the idea of him trying to continue on with the training of new Jedi. 1 Steve reacted to this
Jag 770 Posted May 31 No. What I do wish happened is that Disney didn't simply erase all of the books written after RotJ so they could implement their own story. Timothy Zahn (The Thrawn Trilogy) and many others did some amazing things with the characters. 1 Steve reacted to this Quote People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true.
