Steve 6,584 Posted November 16, 2022 Confirmed with Adrian Selby that we'll be discussing Brother Red on December 28th. Since he's in the UK it will be afternoon/evening his time and mid-day or so US time. Please RSVP if you'd like to join us on stream. Brother Red is a stand alone, so no worries about a long term commitment or having to read something before. Jolien Reads 754 Posted November 16, 2022 It's an author I've wanted to try for a long time... I won't RSVP yet because the holidays are crazy and I don't have all of the dates yet but I'll keep it in mind! 2 Steve and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this

When I started this one it was like wearing an old comfortable hoodie. Adrian has a way of building characters and world without you noticing he’s doing it. His action scenes are stellar 2 Paromita Mukherjee and Layla Azmi Goushey reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

He has a comforting way of worldbuilding and characterization all at once. By comforting I mean he makes the world seem familiar even though it is new to me. 2 Steve and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this
Erin 292 Posted December 26, 2022 About 60 % in now. It's taken me a while to get into the groove of this one, not really sure why yet, but looking forward to seeing what happens now. 2 Steve and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this

The dialogue took me a little bit to get into, or at the end of dialogue it explains who said it "Mun this is" or similar 1 Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
