I'm excited to hear what you think of both Kings of Heaven and Mirror's Truth! 3 hours ago, chrisM said: Man, that Friday Conversation was so awesome! I planned to fall asleep during it, watching from bed but it was so entertaining I was buzzed 😀 I’ve got a day in bed planned as I’m still under the weather but that just means movies and books all day! Everyone has such beautiful ways to spend their time in the cold. Its a bit inspiring. I hope everyone’s weekend continues to be great. Hope you feel better! 29 minutes ago, Nina_Bloodsworn said: i had finally time yesterday to play guildwars2 again! 2 or 3 hours went by sooo quickly - loved it! this little one is going to be my new mount when I am done with the quest. How is the population over on GW2? I'm a little surprised it's still churning along after all these years. @Jolien Reads you may visit Boston Massachusetts? 2 chrisM and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

Today have the Aspect-Emperor podcast with @drpuffnstuffand @Katerina then tonight the Friday Conversation. Tomorrow the spoiler discussion for Trials of Ashmount and Sunday hopefully lots of nothing but relaxing for a hopefully illness free Monday. Hope you feel better asap @Steve. I have a lot of reading planned over the weekend. I want to try few chapters from a book by every author I have committed to reading as part of a buddy read or readalong in 2023, just to make sure the writing style works for me. I'm almost done but have two more books left to go. I want to retry a non-SFF book I DNF'd by Orhan Pamuk. Also plan to tune in to few livestreams on Booktube. Have a good weekend everyone! 3 Steve, Jozua B and Jolien Reads reacted to this
Holly Tinsley 543 Posted December 16, 2022 Hope you're feeling better soon, Steve! I have to go out tomorrow and (shudder) socialise. Meeting up with some old work friends. Otherwise I'm hoping to get some editing/writing done on a new project and read some more of PL Stuart's next book, which I've been lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of. 3 Paromita Mukherjee, Jolien Reads and Steve reacted to this
Jolien Reads 810 Posted December 17, 2022 Hope you feel better soon Steve! Definitely take it easy! I finally made the decision to order a nintendo switch (after facing the truth, a gaming pc is way too expensive for the amount I play and also the type of games I enjoy) and it arrives on Monday! So I've been watching a lot of YouTube-game-people talk about the switch haha This evening I have a liveshow on Joana Sousas channel, just a chat with her and Johanna, and tomorrow I have a housewarming + filming and editing a video for tomorrow evening. Oh, and I hope to finish my current read! 4 chrisM, Jozua B, Steve and 1 other reacted to this

There's some fun games on it and it's amazing what they can create to play games that good. Excited you'll be on a liveshow! Jozua B 158 Posted December 23, 2022 Last weekend I got the crazies and hopped last minute on a plane to Stockholm to go and look at houses in Sweden. Bought one yesterday and now I'm flying back to Belgium. So this weekend will be fun explaining to the family we started our new adventure 😊. Have a nice weekend everyone! A_FROG_IN_TIME 820 Posted January 6 I am going to finish fist draft on my writers battle short. Add some more to The Destroyer and do a little tinkering based on feedback to the Healer. Trying to improve character building in the second half as I focussed more on action in the first few drafts. I may try and dig out one of my guitars and have a bash. I know they are in the spare room somewhere... 4 Steve, Drew, Jolien Reads and 1 other reacted to this

Tomorrow hope to go to the local comic book shop and grab From Hell and some new tires for my road bike after our Eleventh Cycle discussion. Then on Sunday hopefully lots of nothing! 4 Drew, Kian N. Paromita Mukherjee 1,593 Posted January 6 I am reading as much of The Wars of Light and Shadow by Janny Wurts as I can this weekend. Also did a reddit search for fantasy authors with a literary feel and made a list - some I've read and some I haven't. One book that stood out to me was The Traitor Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson. I've read this book and it didn't exactly stand out to me as having a literary feel but perhaps I missed things. Wondering if I should reread. 3 Jolien Reads, Drew and Steve reacted to this
