Steve 7,527 Posted December 14, 2022 I’ve seen writers ask for reviewers lists on social media from each other and I think there are some lists floating around. Would it be helpful to start a reviewer list and post it here? It could include the criteria you all look for (availability, preferred format, genre, their platform, ect.) I can look into a master list that we add to. Is this something that would be helpful? Having an evolving resource like that might be good to have. If so, please let me know what criteria it should have on it and even reviewers you already have on your list, we can get it started! 2 Amanda Feeser and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
Paromita Mukherjee 1,659 Posted December 14, 2022 @Steve when you say reviewers, do you mean Booktubers as well? I recently prepared a list for an author friend of mine who will be self-publishing soon, would be happy to share it here if it is acceptable. 1 Steve reacted to this

JCM Berne 49 Posted December 14, 2022 Only criterion I look for is whether they are willing to read my book. So, generally, it matters most what their submission criteria are. 3 Paromita Mukherjee, Steve and Abaddon reacted to this

Steve 7,527 Posted December 14, 2022 I was thinking I could make a Google sheet submission form and let people submit their contact info. Some of the criteria I thought might be useful (feel free to add more that I missed or are important to you) Name: Email address: YouTube: Instagram: Twitter: Blog/website: TikTok: Facebook: Preferred genres (or open): Timeframe: Are you currently accepting requests?: Best way to contact you: 4 Abaddon, Paromita Mukherjee, jamedi and 1 other reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
Abaddon 429 Posted December 15, 2022 Would asking if they prefer physical or ebook be worth adding? Or if they require one or the other, I've heard some reviewers require physical and won't touch digital. 2 Paromita Mukherjee and Steve reacted to this Quote Resident Noob

Will create some Google sheets when I have some time in the next few weeks and start compiling data Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
