Drew 658 Posted December 25, 2022 Would anyone be interested in trying to get together once in awhile over zoom or whatever to just hangout and talk? Open to anyone here on the forum, and not posted to YouTube, but just a private forum hangout. Idk if this has been done before or if anyone else would have any interest in that. But I just thought it might be another fun way to build the community for anyone that wants to. Maybe like once a quarter…? Steve 6,666 Posted December 25, 2022 Sounds like a great idea! StreamYard works pretty well for this stuff, I use it that way often for content planning and not streaming/recording. Not a big fan of Zoom. That’s indifferent to me. Every weekend is much the same. Idk how streamyard works with hosting and all that but it would be cool if the stream could stay open for as long as people are able to hang out that day and give a chance for people to come and go depending on their time zone. I know I can add an event to the calendar but I’m not sure how to do the stream link. If the host of the stream (me) were to leave the stream people couldn't be added when they came in, so if I leave or aren't there the people who pop in won't be able to join. I can do up to 10 people on streamyard, though. I live in the UK where are scariest animal is a possibility of a black panther on Bodmin moor, so I am fascinated by mythological monsters. Anything on Bigfoot or the Yeti and I am watching it.
