Stardraigh 33 Posted February 6 I was at my chiropractor today and while I was undergoing RPT, the chiropractor and I made small talk. I admitted to playing some games over the weekend and talked about Signalis which on its surface is trying to be cosmic horror. She had no idea what that was. So I explained and talked about the origins, and where it as a genre fell within literature and where cosmicism had its roots in philosophy. The session ended and she said she'd look into it. I have no idea if she actually will. I certainly didn't give her any references other than Lovecraft himself and the game Signalis in the relatively short time we had. She did seem genuinely curious about it. I'll see next week. I'm gonna be honest. This is not the worst I've ever done with introducing another person to a cross-section of art and philosophy. It's far from being the best attempt. As an extension from this, anyone have any quirky or memorable moments with introducing someone to something? 1 1 Steve and Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this Quote (•_•) /// Deviantart /// ( •_•)>⌐■-■ /// Steam /// (⌐■_■) /// Goodreads /// Internet High Fives All Around
