Steve 7,530 Posted February 20 No, I'm not done just yet with the 32 Videos in 32 Days Challenge, but that isn't going to stop me from planning my next adventure! I'll be doing 24 A24 Videos in 24 Days next month (start date TBD). If anyone wants to meet to discuss these we can plan meetups or I will be doing a review for each. I'll also be doing these in chronological order by release date. Here's my list: Locke The Rover The Witch Remember Equals The Blackcoats Daughter It Comes at Night A Ghost Story Woodshock The Florida Project The Killing of a Sacred Deer First Reformed Hereditary Under the Silver Lake Midsommar The Kill Team In Fabric Saint Maud The Green Knight Lamb X Men Pearl Causeway Potential guests: @marissa-bailey Pearl, X @Crystal Rhew Staley Midsommar, Lamb, The Green Knight @chrisM Ghost Story, The Witch, Hereditary, Killing of a Sacred Deer, Under the Silver Lake, The Green Knight @Susana Imaginário Locke? @Mr_Selfy Locke, It Comes at Night, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Hereditary, Men, Pearl 3 Paromita Mukherjee, marissa-bailey and Ric reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
Ric 500 Posted February 20 Good luck with your adventure! I've heard of only 6 of these movies and had to google what A24 is. I'm impressed you find time to do all these projects. Did all that nuclear bomb testing somehow warp spacetime in New Mexico, so that time flows slower there so you can do all this stuff? Or maybe I'm just a terrible procrastinator? Yeah, it's probably that. 3 Paromita Mukherjee, Frank and Steve reacted to this

Or maybe I'm just a terrible procrastinator? Yeah, it's probably that. I'm going to give myself some time to relax after the 32 videos in 32 days before I start this one. And I'll plan it in advance to have most of the videos done before it kicks off, which is something I should have done more of for the current project. Thankfully watching movies is much less of a time investment than reading chunky books, so it's been nice in that regard! 1 Paromita Mukherjee reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

I’d be down for a rewatch of Midsommar and Lamb and The Green Knight are probably the ones I’d be most interested in watching sooner rather than later of the ones I haven’t seen. 1 Steve reacted to this
chrisM 553 Posted March 6 Don’t know how I missed this list. Down for loads of those. Some I’ve seen, some not. Especially love Ghost Story but if there’s one in particular you want to go through, gimme a shout. Saint Maud is an interesting one as well. Didn’t totally hit the first tie, but I have a copy here already to rewatch. Id imagine we could get a crowd for some of the more popular ones like VVitch, Hereditary etc. 2 Frank and Steve reacted to this
Steve 7,530 Posted March 7 I’m open to doing discussions for as many as you’d all join me for. In some ways that’s less time consuming than scripting, recording, editing videos I haven’t decided on a time period yet but I’m thinking maybe starting April 1st - April 24th 1 marissa-bailey reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄
Susana Imaginário 431 Posted March 7 I've only seen three movies on that list (!) (Locke, Midsommar and The Green Knight) and the last two feature on my 'least favourite movies of all time' list. 😂 I enjoyed Locke, though, so I'm intrigued about the rest. 1 Steve reacted to this

Steve 7,530 Posted March 8 Updated the original post with potential guests. The more the merrier! Scheduling may be a pain but if we start with ones that people are wanting to join I can fill in the rest as needed. Assuming I start April 1st, we can plan dates now to lock them in. I'm available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday after 5pm EST and Saturday, Sundays depending on the time. Would like to lock in which movies I'll just be doing a recorded review for soon so I can start watching those and recording the videos ahead of time. If we have discussions for all of them I'm down! 1 marissa-bailey reacted to this Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

chrisM 553 Posted March 8 Witch was my 4k Blu ray release of last year so definitely interested for that. I have Killing of a Sacred Deer to watch as well so that could be a fun one as well Locke's a really interesting film. I did an audio review of it many years ago, so I'll look forward to the chat, without having the pressure of having to rewatch!
