Steve 7,540 Posted May 23 Spoilers for the end of The Unholy Consult, a great comment from @Ctharsis Spoiler I read the "blasted body" as her dead body, but I'm hoping Serwa is still alive. Spoiler So interesting that a glancing blow from a Chorae "only" salted her arm... In the first book, when Geshrunni had a Chorae near Achamian, and he could feel his skin starting to salt.. But Serwa got touched and just her arm got salted. Maybe there are other instances of "just a flesh wound" version of sorcerors and trinkets, but I don't remember any. And with Serwa maybe, probably being alive.. Does give some hope to humanity against Mog.. 1 Steve reacted to this

Or maybe it's Esme's DNA that is somehow helping her? I would imagine Serwa would be one of if not the main character if we ever get the next series. She has some great moments at the end of Unholy Consult Quote Steve IRL ► Personal Links: YouTube (booktube) ● OTBSteve YouTube (MTB and cycling) ● Strava ● Last.fm ● GoodReads ● Vero ◄

She has some great moments at the end of Unholy Consult Spoiler Fascinating... So, since Esme is "saved", maybe that is being partially transferred to her daughter? Is being "saved" a genetically transferable property? What does that mean for Kel? Is the NoGod kind-of saved then? Or, perhaps its only passed down to female descendants? Makes me feel a bit better thinking that Theliopa is chilling in Heaven! And if Dunyain DNA causes some kind of damnation, maybe thats why Mimara is so Holy? She is purely of Esme without the taint of Dunyain blood. Or, Serwa is such a bad ass she can shrug off a Tear of God.

Does he have the power to return Kellhus back to... Kellhus and remove Ajokli? Or is Ajokli more powerful? I really help Theli is chilling in heaven, she was one of my favorite characters. Did the Judging Eye play a role in the aftermath of the return of the No-God?
